On May 18-20, we will be hosting a kick-off event for the Field Guide at Emory University!
Over the years, many of our colleagues across the discipline have asked us for advice on how to teach channel and sales strategy management, whether for a full-term course or for a few sessions inside another course, and whether for undergraduate, MBA, or executive MBA level courses. We use the Field Guide as the basis for all of our classes and thanks to the generous faculty development support at Emory University, we have been awarded a substantial grant to host a best practices and networking conference at the university’s conference center.
A key benefit of this conference will be the opportunity to interact with leading educators and executives on the topic of channel strategy and sales management, as well as to generate greater awareness of the institutions that provide financial support and data access for new research.
The practices and materials to be discussed are not limited to the marketing area of the business school, but generalize more broadly to organizational strategy design, operations/supply chain management, and the fields of public health, medicine, and non-profit institution management.
